I Just Had The Most Amazing Thing happen at Gamestop

Not sure if this post is acceptable in the sub, but I had to share it as this seemed like the most relevant sub. Also, I would like to apologize for the formatting Ahead of time. I am on mobile.I had just picked up my son at school and we went to gamestop to trade in a few games and get him and myself something new to play.As we were browsing, he spotted Forza 7 on the self and instantly lit up.A little background: my son is 8 and high-functioning autistic, his most favorite thing in the world, I mean completely obsessed and knows more about them than me, is cars.So obviously he wants the game, but it is $60 new. I explain to him that at the moment we can't afford it along with the other things he wanted, but I would definitely come back and get it for him in the future.A few moments later a couple approached me and asked me which game it was we were just looking at.I tell them that it was Forza 7 and continue browsing with my son.Another few minutes passed and my son and I are getting ready to check out and leave when they approached us again.They had just bought the game brand new with insurance and they wanted to give it to me and my son.My son didn't quite understand what just happened, but I was speechless and nearly started crying right there. I told them they didn't have to do that but they said that they wanted to.I thanked them for their kindness and they left right away. It didn't look like they had any other bags with them and that they had just come into tge store to make a random purchase for a stranger.After I made my purchase and got my son into our car, I turned to him and asked him if he understood what just happened. He says, "no, what?"So I explain to him, the incredibly kind thing these two random people did for us out of the kindness of their hearts and that there isn't a whole lot of people who would do something like that.I'm not hard up for money anything and I definitely don't feel like I deserved this kindness, but from the bottom of my heart I am thankful for such generosity and kindness and the smile they put on my little boys face. They definitely made his day.He says that the next time I see them I need to thank them and give them a big hug for him. Hopefully I get to do just that someday as well as do something like this for someone else.Edit : I have decided that to pass it on, that once I get paid this coming friday, I am going to purchase a steam, psn, or xbox gift card for a random person in the sub.
